About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical E-commerce Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in driving data-driven decisions across our e-commerce business by analyzing performance metrics, creating insightful dashboards, and providing strategic recommendations. You will work closely with Google Analytics, streamline data processes, and support various teams with actionable insights to optimize their strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis and Insights

  • Analyze e-commerce performance metrics to uncover trends and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and operations teams to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Develop predictive models and performance forecasts to aid strategic planning.

Data Management

  • Work with Google Analytics to track and measure website performance, conversions, and user behavior.
  • Clean, organize, and prepare data from various sources, including Google Analytics, CRM platforms, and third-party APIs.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by conducting regular audits and validations.

Dashboard Development and Reporting

  • Design and maintain user-friendly dashboards using tools like Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI or similar.
  • Automate reporting processes to provide real-time insights to stakeholders.
  • Create tailored reports and presentations to communicate findings and strategic recommendations effectively.

Strategic Support

  • Identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement in marketing and operational performance.
  • Provide actionable insights to optimize customer acquisition, retention, and overall e-commerce performance.
  • Contribute to cross-functional initiatives by integrating data insights into strategic discussions.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, Business, or a related field. Masters degree is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in an e-commerce environment.
  • Strong expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Knowledge and experience in integrating CRM systems with analytics platforms, as well as expertise in Google Analytics 4 (GA4), would be a valuable advantage.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python for data cleaning, preparation, and analysis.
  • Familiarity with data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
