Position Overview

The Email Marketing Specialist will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of email marketing campaigns, ensuring that all campaigns are impactful, accurate, and aligned with WebLife Labs' marketing goals. This role involves building and deploying campaigns, optimizing audience segmentation, and leveraging data to improve performance. The ideal candidate will combine creativity, technical skills, and a results-driven mindset to help drive customer engagement, retention, and conversions.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Development & Execution

  • Build, schedule, and execute email marketing campaigns using Klaviyo or similar platforms.
  • Collaborate with the Design and Copywriting Teams to deliver visually engaging, brand-aligned, and persuasive email content.
  • Test email campaigns for accuracy, functionality, and responsiveness across devices and platforms before deployment.

Audience Segmentation & Personalization

  • Use customer data to create targeted audience segments for personalized and lifecycle-based messaging.
  • Collaborate with the CRM Team to refine segmentation strategies that drive higher engagement.
  • Ensure campaigns are tailored to customer lifecycle stages (welcome series, reactivation, cart abandonment).

Performance Analysis & Optimization

  • Track key performance metrics such as open rates, click-through rates (CTR), conversion rates, and revenue per email.
  • Analyze campaign results, identify trends, and provide insights to inform optimization strategies.
  • Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, creative assets, and CTAs to improve campaign effectiveness.

Lifecycle Marketing Support

  • Assist in developing and maintaining automated workflows, including welcome series, cart abandonment, and re-engagement campaigns.
  • Regularly review and optimize workflows based on customer behavior and business objectives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with Product Marketing and CRO Teams to align email content with promotions, product launches, and conversion strategies.
  • Coordinate with the Merchandising Team to feature accurate product information and seasonal promotions.
  • Support the Email Marketing Lead in executing broader email strategies and initiatives.

Compliance & Best Practices

  • Ensure all campaigns comply with email marketing regulations (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM).
  • Follow data hygiene practices to maintain clean email lists and maximize deliverability.
  • Stay up-to-date with email marketing trends and best practices to keep campaigns innovative and competitive.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in email marketing or campaign management, ideally in an e-commerce or digital-first environment.
  • Proficiency in Klaviyo or similar email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, ActiveCampaign).
  • Strong understanding of email segmentation, automation workflows, and performance optimization.
  • Ability to analyze campaign data, conduct A/B testing, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS basics for email design and testing tools to ensure compatibility across devices.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong project management skills to handle multiple campaigns simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in lifecycle marketing campaigns (e.g., welcome series, retention, and reactivation).
  • Familiarity with customer behavior analytics and reporting tools.
  • Understanding of email deliverability best practices and compliance standards.
  • Prior experience working in a remote-first environment with cross-functional teams.
