Position Overview

The Email Marketing Lead will drive WebLife Labs' email marketing initiatives to achieve customer engagement, retention, and revenue growth. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution, including audience segmentation, workflow automation, and performance optimization. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in email marketing, with proficiency in tools like Klaviyo and a proven track record of delivering measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Development & Execution

  • Develop and implement the email marketing strategy to achieve business objectives, including customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
  • Plan and manage automated lifecycle workflows (e.g., welcome series, cart abandonment, re-engagement, and post-purchase campaigns).
  • Execute campaign segmentation strategies to ensure personalized, relevant messaging that drives engagement and conversions.
  • Oversee the email campaign calendar, aligning communications with product launches, promotions, and key business events.
  • Manage multiple accounts with 10K+ contacts
Performance Monitoring & Optimization
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics such as open rates, CTR, conversions, and revenue per email.
  • Conduct A/B testing to optimize subject lines, content, CTAs, and send times for improved performance.
  • Leverage customer insights and data to refine strategies and maximize ROI on email marketing efforts.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Creative Team to develop visually compelling and on-brand email content.
  • Collaborate with the Business Intelligence Team to leverage customer data and behavior insights for segmentation and targeting.
  • Partner with product, marketing, and operations teams to align email campaigns with broader business goals.

Compliance & Deliverability

  • Ensure all campaigns comply with email marketing regulations (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM) and industry best practices.
  • Manage email list health through data hygiene practices and deliverability optimization.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in email marketing within an e-commerce or digital-first organization.
  • Proficiency in Klaviyo or similar email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, ActiveCampaign).
  • Demonstrated expertise in email automation, segmentation, and personalization.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate campaign performance data into actionable insights.
  • Proven experience with A/B testing, campaign optimization, and performance reporting.
  • Understanding of email deliverability best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills, with the ability to handle multiple campaigns simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Managed large campaigns for US/Australian or European clients
  • Experience with customer lifecycle campaigns (e.g., retention, churn prevention, reactivation).
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS for email customization.
  • Strong knowledge of customer behavior analytics and reporting tools.
  • Prior experience leading email initiatives in a remote-first environment.
