About the Role
We are seeking a GA4 Specialist to enhance WebLife’s digital analytics infrastructure, focusing on implementing, maintaining, and optimizing Google Analytics 4 (GA4) properties across our digital platforms. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our performance tracking systems, enabling data-driven decisions across teams. The ideal candidate is both technically skilled and strategic, able to translate analytics into actionable insights that drive growth.
Key Responsibilities
Implementation and Tracking
- Configure and maintain GA4 properties, ensuring accurate tracking of website and app user interactions, events, and conversions.
- Develop and implement custom events, parameters, and dimensions tailored to business objectives and marketing goals.
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Platform Teams to integrate GA4 with tools like Google Tag Manager (GTM), CRM platforms, and advertising networks.
- Set up enhanced e-commerce tracking to monitor user behavior, cart performance, and transaction data.
Analytics and Insights
- Analyze user behavior across digital assets to uncover actionable insights that optimize campaigns, user experiences, and operational strategies.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as conversion rates, bounce rates, and campaign performance metrics.
- Work with the BI Team to design and maintain custom dashboards and automated reports that provide real-time performance tracking.
Data Quality and Compliance
- Conduct regular audits of GA4 implementations to ensure data accuracy, validating event tracking, goals, and enhanced e-commerce metrics.
- Detect and resolve data anomalies, such as broken tags, misconfigured events, or discrepancies across platforms.
- Enforce data governance policies, including naming conventions, parameter usage, and tracking standards.
- Ensure compliance with privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) by implementing consent management and anonymized IP tracking.
Collaboration and Training
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align GA4 tracking with broader business objectives and campaign strategies.
- Train internal teams on interpreting GA4 data and using it to inform decision-making.
- Support BI Team efforts to integrate GA4 data into centralized reporting systems and dashboards.
Requirements
Experience and Skills
- Experience: 3+ years working with Google Analytics, including GA4 and enhanced e-commerce tracking.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Google Tag Manager (GTM), GA4 DebugView, and tools like Data Studio, Tableau, or Looker.
- Data Expertise: Strong understanding of SQL and experience with data visualization principles.
- Marketing Knowledge: Familiarity with digital marketing platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager) and CRM systems.
- Compliance Knowledge: Experience implementing privacy-compliant analytics solutions (e.g., anonymized tracking, consent management).
